I grew up in Tampa so the story is a native's worst nightmare, yet it provides hope and inspiration to all. The author uses such vivid descriptions that you feel like you're part of the story and you know the characters. It's very detailed and insightful, which is amazing for a short story. This is a wonderful little story about finding the courage to stand for things you love dispute your failings even if it's something as small as a little kitten.
